Two Canadians on the 2011 Man Booker Shortlist.

Congratulations to Patrick DeWitt and Esi Edugyan, the two Canadian authors on The 2011 Man Booker Shortlist. The Man Booker Prize for Fiction is awarded each year for the best original full-length novel, written in the English language, by a citizen of the Commonwealth of Nations, Ireland, or Zimbabwe. The winner is awarded £50,000.

This year's short list is,

Carol Birch, Jamrach's Menagerie
Patrick deWitt, The Sisters Brothers
Esi Edugyan, Half Blood Blues
