The Search for Wondla by Tony DiTerlizzi by Margaret Saull - Monday, Oct 04, 2010 at 9:03am

The Search for Wondla is the first in a new trilogy from Tony DiTerlizzi, the illustrator of The Spiderwick Chronicles. It is always difficult to follow up a huge success like Spiderwick, but I think he has done it! This story is so much fun, with loads of action and danger.

Eva Nine has never been on the surface of her planet. She has never seen the sun or walked outside, and has never even seen another human being. She has spent all of her twelve years living underground with Muthr, her guardian robot. After a frightening invasion of her home, Eva escapes to the surface and begins an adventurous journey to find others like herself.

The Search for Wondla is an imaginative story complete with beautiful illustrations. As a matter of fact, you can view the illustrations using "Wondla-Vison" (augmented reality) and explore an interactive map. The search begins at Wondla.com.
