The winners of the Grades Five & Six writing contest have been chosen. This year's subject was "All Creatures Great and Small". Once again this contest was a great success, with 48 entries submitted and 5 winners decided upon. We would like to thank all the authors for their creative and enthusiastic animal stories. It was a pleasure to read all of these original works and difficult to choose only five.
I wonder what our theme should be next year...

Congratulations everyone! The awards ceremony will be held at McNally Robinson Booksellers Grant Park on Thursday, April 22nd at 7:30 pm. in the travel alcove. Awards will be given and our five young authors will read their winning entries.
