

The ballot for the 2010 Hugo Awards has been released and there are two Canadians among the nominees. Both and have previously won the Hugo Award for Best Novel. Sawyer in 2003 for Hominids and Wilson in 2006 for Spin. Sawyer's Wake is also nominated for an Aurora Award.

The Hugos will be presented at Aussiecon 4, the 68th World Science Fiction Convention, September 2nd-6th.
