In A Time Of Treason Hits The Pipeline by Chadwick Ginther - Wednesday, Jul 11, 2007 at 11:41am

Former Winnipeger David Keck, whose debut fantasy novel garnered rave reviews from publications such as Publisher's Weekly, The Quill and Quire, and the Winnipeg Free Press, as well as his genre peers Steven Erickson and Jacqueline Carey, has delivered the follow up, In a Time of Treason to his editors at Tor Books.

Time of Treason is to be expected in spring 2008, and is already high on my list of the most anticipated novels of next year.

With his second novel finished, David will be jetting off to the San Diego Comic Con to participate in a panel discussion called "She/He Who Understands History...Gets To Rewrite It". Other panelists include: Jacqueline Carey, Harry Turtledove and R.A. Salvatore.

Keck has been compared favourable to other Canadian science fiction and fantasy writers such as Guy Gavriel Kay and William Gibson. High, but deserved praise. If you haven't read In The Eye Of Heaven, do so.

You can check out David's blog here: and see some photos from his spring 2006 book launch here.
