Why you should be reading Ranger's Apprentice

August 4th brings us the release of The Siege of Macindaw, the 6th book in Ranger's Apprentice series. As a big fan of the series, I thought I'd mark the occasion with a list of 6 reasons you should read the series.
-
1. You finished Percy Jackson and need an adventure fix.
-
2. You like your action well-described and often.
-
3. You like characters who actually grow and change.
-
4. You love medieval history, but wish you didn't already know how it ended.
-
5. You want tips on archery, sword fighting, or how to sneak up on people.
-
6. You're not quite sure what a ranger is. Hint: Cross Robin Hood with Batman and you're halfway there.
