The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America have released the names of the winners of the annual Nebula Awards. 's YA novel, Powers, won in the Best Novel category. A list of all winners may be found on the SFWA's website here.
The James Tiptree Jr. Award, which honours science fiction and fantasy writing that pushes the boundary of gender roles, was given this year to The Knife of Never Letting Go by and Filter House by . The award was created in 1991, and named after the pen-name of , whose short fiction was notable for such themes.
