Partners in Culture (a Reader
Rewards program)
McNally Robinson Booksellers
partners with arts and cultural groups to help promote subscription
and membership sales. As a bonus for subscribing or joining, arts patrons
receive a discounted Reader Reward Card membership.
Reader Reward Cards provide a
10% discount on books, gifts, CDs and DVDs and restaurant food. The
cards sell for $25.
In the Partners in Culture program,
arts groups offer the Reader Reward Card to new or renewing subscribers

Store Displays for Community
Arts Programming
There are often clear links between
book publishing and programming offered by arts and cultural groups
in our community. When we discover such a link, we are happy to offer
in-store displays in support of your programming, usually simultaneously
promoting books relating to it.
If you perceive a tie-in between
an upcoming arts event and the world of writing and publishing, please
contact us with suggestions for in-store promotions. The earlier we
learn of your project, the better we can respond by canvassing publishers
and stocking related titles. Please contact Ryan McBride (ryan@grant.mcnallyrobinson.ca
Bookstore Events in Support
of Upcoming Cultural Productions
Over the years, McNally Robinson
has many times held in-store events at which arts groups preview new
productions. Directors, authors and performers call all participate,
both explicating and promoting the performances to be presented. These
events may prepare audiences for difficult new works or for new interpretations
of familiar repertoire. They offer a casual opportunity to educate audience
members and exchange ideas with them.
