Anne Morton's interest in British history, literature and culture has been a constant in her life. She has nourished it as a student, an archivist, a dancer and a storyteller. Winnipeg-born and raised, Anne comes from a family of readers, writers and teachers. She has studied at universities in Ontario, England and Manitoba. For 25 years she enjoyed a career in reference and public programming with the Hudson’s Bay Company Archives. On retiring from the archives, she returned to university, and in the spring of 2012 graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Graduate Student of Highest Distinction Award as well as an M.A. in Theology to add to her degrees in Classics and English. .
