Marjorie Anderson

Marjorie taught Twentieth Century literature, writing, and communication at the University of Manitoba. During that time, she also worked as a communication consultant specializing in the areas of interpersonal communication, mediation, and facilitation. Along with Carol Shields, she developed the concept for and edited the national best-selling Dropped Threads anthologies, and she now works as a freelance editor and a teacher of creative and personal writing. Currently she is also working on two books: one collection of memorable pieces of advice and the other a collaborative novel that she and colleague Deborah Schnitzer are writing along with twelve other writers from Canada and abroad.
