Vicky Metcalf Award

Established in 1963, the award is presented annually by the Canadian Authors Association to a Canadian writer (citizen or landed immigrant) who has produced a body of work (more than three books) with appeal for children aged 7 to 17. Submissions are judged by a panel of three experts, and the recipient of the award is announced each June at the Canadian Authors Association annual conference. The 2002 Award was deferred to 2003
