

If you're a Percy Jackson fan, you've probably heard that the first book in new series The Kane Chronicles, The Red Pyramid, is coming out today, Tuesday, May 4 - and if you're anything like us at the bookstore, you can't wait to read it either! Instead of featuring Greek mythology, this series is about Egyptian gods and goddesses. It all starts when Carter and Sadie Kane's father blows up the British museum...

First of all, I am terribly excited to announce that the third book in the Hunger Games trilogy has a release date! Mark your calendars for August 24, when you'll finally be able to find out exactly what happens after Catching Fire's cliffhanger ending.

Here's a trailer of 's new book, Perfect Snow. First-grader Scott and fourth-grader Jim have been daydreaming the morning away, making plans, doodling sketches of snowmen and snow forts, all in anticipation of recess and the endless possibilities of the perfect snow. Reid uses her signature Plasticine style and blends it for the first time with ink wash panels to create a unique mixed media masterpiece.
The Attolia series by has not been reviewed on this website yet, but that does not mean that the books are not awesome. These books are perfect for intermediate readers, teens and even adults. At least I fit into the "adult" category, and I enjoy the series even more every time I reread them - which is as often as I can. I had never been sure if there were going to be more after the first three, so I'm excited to announce that the fourth book, A Conspiracy of Kings, is set to come out on March 23, 2010!
