According to The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and TV Guide , ABC has ordered 13 episodes of a new series based on Robert J. Sawyer's FlashForward.

Wild Cards Returning to Print by Chadwick Ginther - Sunday, May 03, 2009 at 11:21am

Wild Cards series editor George R.R. Martin announced on his blog that Tor, the series' most recent publisher, will be reissuing the first three volumes in what is now the longest running shared universe in fiction. What format these new editions of Wild Cards, Aces High and Jokers Wild will take is still up in the air. But as an added bonus, the first book will feature three new stories by authors Michael Cassutt, David D. Levine and Carrie Vaughn (interviewed here.)

Wheel of Time Concluding Volume Now a Concluding Trilogy by Chadwick Ginther - Tuesday, Mar 31, 2009 at 10:31am

Tor has issued this press release stating that A Memory of Light, to be the twelfth and final volume in Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series will be split into three shorter novels. Author Brandon Sanderson -- who was hired by Tor to finish the book after Jordan's death in 2007 -- has some thoughtful commentary on the decision to split the book on his blog. The first installment of A Memory of Light, entitled The Gathering Storm is due to hit shelves November 3rd 2009.
