Crime Writer's Association Releases Dagger Shortlists by Chadwick Ginther - Monday, Jun 08, 2009 at 6:39pm

The CWA's Dagger Awards shortlists are out, and it looks like the Scandinavians have taken the knives to the competition. Of the six finalists for the International Dagger, which celebrates the best spy, thriller, suspense, crime or mystery novel translated into English for U.K. publication, France's Fred Vargas was the only non-scandinavian on the list.
