Wake 01$13.50 add to cart

The Prix Aurora Awards were handed out Sunday, May 23rd in Winnipeg. Robert J. Sawyer's Wake won the big prize amongst the English language awards, scoring him his first Aurora in the Long Form Category since his novel Flashforward won in 2000.

Women of the Apocalypse featuring stories by Eileen Bell, Roxanne Felix, Ryan McFadden and Billie Milholland won two awards, Best Work in English (Other) and Best Short Form Work in English for Eileen Bell's story "Pawns Dreaming of Roses".

Edward Willett, a nominee for his novel Terra Insegura, has the winners in all categories posted on his blog.

Keycon, Manitoba's science fiction and fantasy convention, now in its 27th year, is being held at the Radisson Inn May 21st-23rd. McNally Robinson will be in the Dealer's Room offering a wide variety of science fiction and fantasy novels and more.

Windup Girl$24.95 add to cart

Paolo Bacigalupi's debut novel, The Windup Girl, has won big at the 2010 Nebula Awards. The Nebulas, presented by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America are considered to be one of the "big three" awards in the science fiction and fantasy field. The Windup Girl is also shortlisted for Best Novel at the Hugo Awards.
