The McNally Robinson Booksellers will take place on Thursday, October 29th at the Polo Park, Winnipeg location from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Gaiman and his publishers, HarperCollins, have challenged independent bookstores to see who can throw the best Graveyard Book Party. The winning store will get the ultimate prize: a visit from Neil Gaiman himself. So help us out by showing up, in costume, for a night of darkly humourous events and activities, including a Danse Macabre, a Wheel of Misfortune, and an Open Mic Epitaph contest.

Entries will be judged by , editor of Half-Minute Horrors, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Gloria Whelan's National Book Award-winning Homeless Bird, and many other amazing books! She'll pick a winner and a runner-up in two categories: one for ages 14 and under, and one for ages 15 and up. The winning entries will then be read at our Hallowe'en Graveyard Party at our Don Mills store on the evening of October 30, 2009, and subsequently printed on our website.
