The McNally Robinson Booksellers will take place on Thursday, October 29th at the Polo Park, Winnipeg location from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Graveyard Book is a novel by . It tells the story of a child named Nobody Owens who grows up in a graveyard, where he is raised by ghosts and other denizens of the world of the dead. Gaiman is an award-winning writer of modern comics, fantasy, film and a horror-weird series
Gaiman and his publishers, HarperCollins, have challenged independent bookstores to see who can throw the best Graveyard Book Party. The winning store will get the ultimate prize: a visit from Neil Gaiman himself. So help us out by showing up, in costume, for a night of darkly humourous events and activities, including a Danse Macabre, a Wheel of Misfortune, and an Open Mic Epitaph contest.
And remember: "It takes a graveyard to raise a child."
